A compact sized campfire…IN A CAN! The Campfire In a Can (CIAC) burns wood, firelogs or charcoal! Compared to traditional campfire designs (i.e. barrel  shape, pan shape, traditional fire pits), Campfire In A Can is revolutionary with its compact diameter vertical burner.

Heat from the campfire is transferred to the burner walls, which then radiates that heat outward. That same heat also flows out of the air intake holes along the sides of the burner. CIAC perfectly balances the acceleration of the: outward flow of hot air and inflow of fresh combustion air around the fuel source. Fuel (wood) is also burned upright, for the most efficient burn.

Designed to quickly and safely put out its fire, CIAC needs only to snap the canister head down over its base. The flame is extinguished and the remaining debris is self contained for easy disposal.

The CIAC also has a stand, which allows you to have a fire in places (i.e. campsites, beaches) that only allow raised firepits. The CIAC design is also considered a contained fire, so you’ll be ready to have a campfire anywhere you go!

Campfire In A Can started a Kickstarter campaign in June of 2014 that ran for two months. By the end of July they had to cancel the funding; they weren’t going to reach their goal.  A mix between a lack of exposure and the delivery date (i.e. the stoves would have been delivered in Oct., at the end of camping season) made that campaign unsuccessful. They went back to the drawing board, figured out what went wrong, made “some major changes to the product itself” and are set to re-launch their Kickstarter campaign in Early 2015. When that happens, I’ll provide a direct link to that campaign. I have a lot of faith that they’ll reach their goal this time around.
